Work Time

Can I add more than one entry a day?

Yes, you can add multiple entries a day. WorkTimes will notify you in case of overlapping.

What's the fastest way to add my work time?

1. Tap the add button when you begin working. WorkTimes will set the start time to the current date and time and will automatically adjust the end and break time based on your default settings. Then save the entry.

2. When you stop working, open the existing entry and tab the end row. Click the NOW button in the picker view to adjust the time to the current. Save the entry and you're done.

Overtime

What is overtime?

Overtime is the amount of time you work beyond your normal working hours.

How is overtime being calculated?

Overtime is calculated based on your normal working hours you've set in the settings tab.
Overtime is calculated for each day so leaving out a work day in case of holiday or illness, will not change your amount of overtime.

And if I have multiple entries a day?

WorkTimes will first sum all durations for a working day and then calulate the overtime.

How can I reduce overtime?

To reduce your overtime just add an entry in the "Overtime" tab. The given duration of this entry will then reduce your total overtime.

Why should I reduce my overtime?

1. You are using a part of your overtime to have free time without taking holiday (e.g. visiting the doctor or having a free day on the beach).

2. You receive overtime pay. So can add an entry in the overtime tab with the amount of time and an additional note that you have received overtime pay.

Tags allow you to attach keywords to work time entries which are then used for tracking projects, customers or any other activities you've spent time on.
